Mid-IB Courses – follow-up for the first or preparation for the second IB year
In our Mid-IB Courses, we accompany you throughout your IB. It is not necessary to have already attended a Pre-IB Course with us. The courses take place with us in Oerlinghausen, at your home or online.
The aim of this course is to stay connected with the syllabus. This can be the follow-up of the first year or the preparation of the second year. In order to provide you with the best possible care, we offer intensive weeks (5 days of 4 hours each). No matter what stage of development you are at, we will introduce you to your individual goals as part of our intensive weeks.

Content of the Mid-IB Courses
In terms of content, we always start with a short entry test on mathematics of grades 5-10. Because the problem is usually not the IB Mathematics, but gaps from the past. Then we deal with study skills. We’ll show you how to teach yourself math. At the end of the day, it is these learning techniques that will get you through the Final Exams.
Over the course of the week, we work through the material individually and systematically and define your goal together with you (e.g. level 7). You will receive a neutral, realistic assessment of your current performance level from our experienced IB coaches. At the end, we will work with you to create a learning plan for the coming weeks and months. In such an intensive week, we manage about half of the syllabus.
Possible gaps from the intermediate level are closed as well as new topics are developed. Our goal is to build the security with you that you will successfully apply your knowledge in the final exams.
